Ruby Rose left Batwoman back in 2020 and gave several vague explanations for her decision. The star played Kate Kane in the Arrowverse series for the CW network.

Rose released various statements via social media about the awful working environment on the set. She claims she could make an entire documentary on her mistreatment during filming.

Rose accused former Warner Brothers TV executive Peter Roth of making young women steam his pants while he was still wearing them. She also said that the exec hired a private investigator to dig up dirt on the actress.

“Peter Roth, you are first up. You are chapter one, not sure if you left after getting promoted to the highest position because you just couldn’t stop making young women steam your pants, around your crotch while you were still wearing said pants or if you left after putting a private investigator on me who you fired as soon as the report didn’t fit your narrative, either way.”

Ruby also claimed that the producers made her work through severe injury and illness. She stated that after a broken neck and a tumor, Roth made her choose whether to return to the show in ten days or be replaced.

Any superhero role is going to be physical. Apparently, Ruby Rose was forced to play such a role when she was not in any physical condition to do so. Now, we finally have a better understanding of why she left the show.
