There is no doubt that Kanye West is a genius when it comes to being a businessman and a rapper. Still, he has his fair share of shortcomings as well. Kanye West finally dropped his ‘Donda’ album in August and fans and rappers alike were elated after waiting for so long.

On the other hand, Lil Nas X is currently one of the most highly-discussed rappers in the music industry, but not all of it is for reasons he would like. His latest “MONTERO (Call My By Your Name)” music video made him a huge subject of controversy as he could be seen giving a lap dance to Lucifer in the video.

Now it seems Kanye West has received his first No. 1 single in ten years. He has Lil Nas X’s Industry Baby to thank for that as the track topped the Billboard Hot 100. Kanye West produced the song alongside Take a Daytrip as well.

The track marks the first track since Katy Perry’s “E.T.” in 2011 which managed to top the charts. It was also his first as a producer since “Stronger” in 2007. Industry Baby dropped on July 23rd and immediately became a hit with fans, climbing to the No. 1 position on Monday (October 18) as revealed by Billboard. There is no doubt Kanye West is glad about this achievement.
