Aaron Carter finally got some good news. The I Want Candy singer will not have to serve prison time after making a deal with prosecutors in his 2017 arrest for driving under the influence.

At the time of the stop, Carter refused to take a breathalyzer test. According to the terms of the deal, the DUI will be wiped from Carter’s record after certain conditions are met.

Carter was most recently in the news after he challenged fellow rapper Soulja Boy to a boxing match. He also got knocked out by retired basketball player Lamar Odom.

In order to have the DUI wiped from his record, Aaron Carter must complete one year of probation and complete 40 hours of community service. According to TMZ, Carter must also attend DUI risk reduction classes and pay about $1,500 in fines and court fees. Carter recently declared his independence from traditional social media as the heat became too much.
