Kyrie Irving refuses to get vaccinated and that is a big problem for the NBA. Now the star Nets player is sitting out games and it could have cost him a fortune as well.

TMZ’s camera spotted Irving at a high school in New Jersey where he played a game of pick-up basketball. It looks like he had a good time, because nobody had any issues playing with the unvaccinated star.

That 4-on-4 basketball game was actually on a soccer field, so it’s not really the most ideal location for a basketball game. The setting seemed to work out just fine in this instance.

Irving hasn’t been very public since all of the drama started. He is still a bit active on social media, but the Brooklyn Nets star is not cutting any interviews as some might in his position. We’ll have to see if he finally relents to the vaccine or if he wants to continue being the “voice of the voiceless.”

H Jenkins

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
