It’s hard to ignore whenever Eminem’s name is attached to a project. The new Venom: Let There Be Carnage film featured a Slim Shady track and that garnered a lot of attention. After all, few rappers have a voice that can amp up fans like Slim Shady.

Polo G Mozzy and Eminem brought it in their Venom track. The song debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 this week, adding yet another appearance for Em on that chart. Skylar Gray recently spoke to Hip Hop Nation and explained how all the pieces came together to make that track happen.

The movie wanted the song, and so we were like, “Okay, who should we put on this?” Polo G is super killing it right now. And Mozzy, I love his vibe, I love his delivery. And then I, from day one, was like, “We should get Em on this ‘cause he did the first “Venom” single for the first movie. So I was like, “That’d be super cool to have him on it too”. And pretty much last minute, he decided to get on it. Like, right up against the deadline. It was crazy. It was so stressful.

Eminem is teasing plenty of projects, like a hopeful Marshall Mathers LP III. We’ll have to se what’s in the pipeline, but whatever Eminem touches will likely continue turning a very expensive shade of gold, heck it might even turn platinum

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
