Erika Jayne continues to face mounting personal, financial, and legal troubles. The ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star shared her side of the story on part one of the four-part reunion show Wednesday night on Bravo.

Jayne has been accused of taking part in a scheme along with estranged husband Tom Girardi which saw the pair embezzle $25 million in misused funds through fraudulent businesses. Erika claims she was in the dark about Girardi’s alleged crimes. Her attorney has also denied any liability. The reality television star used the reunion as a platform to defend herself and show empathy from those hurt by the scam.

“There’s a lot of talk about me being cold, and a lot of talk about me not having empathy and sympathy. Truth is I do, but I’m in an almost impossible situation. And anyone that has been wronged, I want them to be made whole. I’m talking about the alleged victims of all of Tom’s alleged misdoings. And it’s important that people hear that from me.”

Erika Jayne stated during the show that her lawyers have advised her to quit RHOBH, but Jayne said she has nothing to hide. The money she is making from the show is also a consideration. Money has been tight since Erika’s split from Tom Girardi. She was asked point-blank if she is sticking with the show for the paycheck. At this point she is in financial trouble and rather broke.

“That is more now of a consideration. Back then, while we were shooting the show, I was literally trying to survive. So now that we’re here, yes, that has come more into consideration.”

As for her personal life, the aspiring singer said that she is single and ready to mingle. Jayne didn’t mix words when asked by host Andy Cohen if she was dating. Erika told the reality TV mogul that she is looking to hook up.

The complex legal struggles and personal battles Erika Jayne is facing continue to place a strain on RHWOBH. Tom Girardi is facing criminal charges relating to embezzlement and as long as that goes on, Jayne is going to continue to face controversy.

Will Erika Jayne be able to recover from all this controversy? Share your thoughts in the comments!
