Kanye West Was Almost The Musical Guest On Kim Kardashian’s ‘SNL’ Debut

Kanye West & Kim Kardashian always remained in the limelight as they were considered one of the music industry’s favorite couples. Unfortunately, that all changed after Kardashian filed for divorce from West after seven years of marriage. Kardashian had previously stated that she was lonely in her marriage to the rapper.

Despite that, they want to maintain “family unity” throughout the proceedings. Kim Kardashian is also serious about co-parenting as she took co-parenting advice from her sisters Kourtney and Kylie Jenner.

In addition to that, Kim Kardashian recently revealed that she has no intention of changing her last name and will still keep West as her last name for a good reason. Kardashian even made a cryptic post regarding her ongoing divorce case with Kanye West as well recently.

Kim Kardashian will be the first reality star to host ‘Saturday Night Live’ and it seems there were rumors that Kanye West was going to be the musical guest for her debut. According to Hollywood Life, while there were discussions of having Kanye West on the show, the talks never went far.

“Weeks and weeks ago when they were getting Kim to do the show, they threw around the possibility of him to be the musical guest, those discussions didn’t make it very far. But writers like Michael Che have been throwing the idea around of him being in something. They don’t expect him to do anything, but they certainly asked.”

While many fans believe the two might just get back together, it is to be noted that Kanye West unfollowed Kim Kardashian on Instagram as well. On top of that, Kanye West even left town right before Kardashian’s ‘Saturday Night Live‘ debut, so it seems their relationship is unlikely to get any better from the looks of it.
