Earlier this year, legendary singer Dolly Parton has made headlines for all the right reasons as she made good use of her wealth and encouraged people to get the COVID-19 vaccine as Parton did.
Dolly Parton has a reputation of being a kind and loveable woman and that is certainly true. On top of that, she also has tattoos which many fans found surprising.
While speaking with W Magazine, Dolly Parton talked about her “little tattoos,” of which she has “more than one” and then explained the story behind them.
“I have a few little tattoos here and there. Most of my tattoos came because I’m very fair and I have a tendency to scar when I get any kind of cut. I’ve had surgeries for different things, and if the scars didn’t heal properly, I just gotta put tattoos to take the sting out.
Mine are all pastel. And I have more than one! Butterflies don’t sting, they don’t bite…I just kind of related to them with my own personality.”
Dolly Parton also made it clear that there is no certainty she will be getting more tattoos in the future but isn’t closing the door regarding the chance either.
