Despite all his name and fame, it seems he is still not immune to legal problems that plague him. According to Radar Online, Ronald Sweeney, Wayne’s former attorney, filed a lawsuit against the rapper for $20 million.

Sweeney claimed that Wayne didn’t pay him his full commissions connected with certain business moves and Sweeney simply wants what is due to him. It was also said that the rapper was supposed to sit down for a deposition on August 24 but Sweeney then claimed that Lil Wayne skipped out on it.

When asked to provide another date, Sweeney alleged that the rapper refuses to do so. Due to all his, Sweeney filed documents asking for the court to intervene and order the rapper to answer questions pertaining to the accusations against him.

It was stated that Wayne “failed and refused to pay Plaintiffs his promised 10% of the recovery from lawsuits, 10% of the sale of master recordings owned by Lil Wayne’s record label, and then 17% in general commissions that he owes to Plaintiffs in connection with Plaintiff’s day to day management activities.”

Lil Wayne decided to file a lawsuit against Sweeney as well as he claimed that Sweeney never acted as his manager and had been “overcharging him for years.” The rapper claimed he paid over $20 million to Sweeney and does not believe he should pay the attorney even a single cent more.
