Honey Boo Boo Deletes Photo With New Boyfriend After Backlash

Honey Boo Boo is growing up fast, and the 16-year-old reality television star has a new boyfriend to show off. Sadly, she had to delete a photo of the two after a considerable amount of backlash.

This drama for Alana Thompson was sparked when she posted a photo with her new boyfriend Dralin Carswell. He is 20-years-old and a freshman in college, and some fans don’t like that he is dating the much younger Boo Boo.

“Honey Boo Boo is less than 6 months older than me (15) and she has a 20 year old boyfriend? Doesn’t sit right with me,” one fan tweeted out.

Another fan tweeted out to ask: “16 and 20? Where are her parents?” Then they followed that up with: “She’ll be knocked up before she graduates.”

“Honey boo boo’s new boyfriend is 20?? Girl is 16 … Jail. Jail jail jail,” another concerned fan tweeted out. “No ma’am. Nope nope. 4 years difference later on is no problem,” said another, “but a 16 year old and a 20 year old nope.”

Honey Boo Boo deleted the photo from social media, but nothing goes away forever once you put it online. A rep for the famous child reality television star declined a request to comment.
