Fans of the Star Wars franchise will be overjoyed to know that the longtime fan favorite character Boba Fett is getting his own show! Disney+ announced on Wednesday that that spinoff series “The Book of Boba Fett” will premiere on December 29.

The series will feature Temuera Morrison in the role of Boba Fett and Ming-Na Went as Fennec Shand. It will be executive produced by Robert Rodriguez, Dave Filoni, and “The Mandalorian” creator Jon Favreau.

The new series will premiere on December 29th on Disney+. This will ensure that they have a very strong first quarter as fans flock to the streaming service.

Fans first started expecting a spinoff series when Boba Fett made an appearance in the post-credits scene after the second season finale of The Mandalorian.

Disney representatives have already announced that there will be around 10 new Star Wars series coming to their streaming service soon. Of these, “The Rangers of the New Republic” and “Ahsoka Tano” have already been confirmed.
