Megan Thee Stallion’s new Nike ad brought a lot of attention, but some people aren’t loving it. Thankfully, we live in a day and age where celebrities can clap back at criticism and that is exactly what happened in this case.

A Twitter user called Serena Jupiter went off on Megan Thee Stallion’s advertisement. “Stop following celebrities who speak of ‘Mindfulness’ and ‘Vibes’ constantly. It’s all a facade, especially considering their own music’s frequency is in the gutter. See through the Bullsh*t. Practice Discernment and Most importantly stop being so easily mislead!” they wrote. “Use of profanity during mediation and random noises. Who on earth can meditate to that? Recognize meditation IS NO GAME.”

Megan Thee Stallion stumbled across those tweets in her mentions and she didn’t let them go unanswered. In fact, Meg went at Jupiter and dragged her for being “fake woke” and trying to downgrade others to feel good about themselves.

Constantly? The message of the video is although you might be going through a hard time it won’t last long… Y’all so fake woke on this app it’s ridiculous. Idgaf how YOU feel abt my music it’s obviously making SOMEONE feel good abt themselves.

Stop talking abt people you don’t know… stop worrying abt shit that don’t have shit to do with you … stop talking abt shit you don’t like stop talking to people you don’t want a response from… like duh

We’ll have to see if fans think twice the next time they want to sling shade at Megan Thee Stallion. She obviously checks her Twitter and will fire off a reply when she sees fit. This time things didn’t work out too well for Serena Jupiter and we can only say “RIP” to her mentions.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
