Nick Diaz is a true veteran in the MMA world and has not competed inside the Octagon for many years. Fans have been wondering he will ever make his UFC and it seems that seemed unlikely in the past.

Many fans also wondered whether he will be facing off against Jorge Masvidal as well. However, it was then confirmed that he will be squaring off against Robbie Lawler for his return fight.

While speaking at the UFC 266 press conference, Nick Diaz was asked whether he is likely to continue fighting in the MMA world more often, after his UFC 266 fight. Diaz made it clear that he will come back if he loses badly against Robbie Lawler.

“Well, yeah, definitely, wanna do this more often, especially if I get my a** whooped. If I get my a** whooped, I’m gonna come back right away. If I get my a** whooped, I’m coming right back.”

Nick Diaz will be squaring off against Robbie Lawler at the upcoming UFC 266 pay-per-view in a five-round fight on September 25. It will be their second fight since UFC 47 back in 2004. We will have to wait and see who will come out on top.
