Conor McGregor remains one of the most well known MMA fighters in the history of combat sports and his accolades over the years speak for themselves. The Notorious is also known to trash talk often, with varied results.

While Conor McGregor has backed up his trash talks in the past, more often than not, they have also resulted in embarrassing defeats for him. McGregor also doesn’t hold any title in the UFC.

Earlier this year, Conor McGregor topped Forbes Magazine’s list of the top-10 highest-paid athletes in 2021 as he had earned a total of $180 million over the last 12 months. He beat the likes of LeBron James, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and others to top the list.

Rapper Rick Ross commented on Conor McGregor’s recent post about that fact and asked where Floyd Mayweather was. McGregor took it as an opportunity to take a huge shot at Mayweather for not making it onto the list.

“Floyd hasn’t made the list in the last 4 years. Since our fight in 2017, he has not made the list of the Forbes top 100 highest paid athletes. Usually the entry point, the 100th placed athlete, makes in the region of 20-30 mill, so if you didn’t make at least that amount in the Forbes fiscal year, you will not make the list. Case in point, I have Floyd in my back pocket.”

Conor McGregor recently hinted at moving to the welterweight division once he returns to the Octagon. We will have to wait and see if he will do that or not next year.
