Rapper Snoop Dogg is a veteran in the Hip-Hop world and is considered as a collective “Uncle” by many in the Hip-Hop community, which goes to show how universally loved and respected he truly is.

Snoop Dogg being a veteran, is certainly not afraid to show his appreciation and give the rub to newer rappers of the Hip-Hop world. He has done so on various occasions throughout his career.

This year’s Emmys is already done with but once again, the Primetime sector sparked a debate about inclusion. According to The Hollywood Reporter, 44 percent of nominees were People of Color but that was not reflected in the winner’s list.

Of the 12 major categories including lead and supporting actors, no person of color was able to win an award. It seems this also angered Snoop Dogg who took to Instagram and slammed the Emmys as he posted an image showing over three dozen Black actors including Giancarlo Esposito, Keke Palmer, Issa Rae, Anthony Anderson, Kenan Thompson, Maya Rudolph, Dave Chappelle, and others.
