‘Friday’ Star Anthony Johnson Passes Away

We are very sad to learn about the passing of Anthony Johnson. He was only 55-years-ol at the time of his death. Today the world is mourning the loss of a hilarious member of the stand-up comedy world who also carved out his place in cinematic history.

As of this writing, no cause of death has been released. His name is also understandably trending on social media as news of his passing breaks. Johnson had the icon line in Friday where he fell and said “oh my neck and my back.”

According to TMZ, Johnson passed away eariler this month according to his nephew. The comedian was found “lifeless” in a store.

Johnson’s nephew tells us … A.J. was found lifeless in a store earlier this month in Los Angeles and rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. So far, no cause of death has been released.

The actor was in Friday, House Party, Lethal Weapon 3, Menace II Society, Malcolm & Eddie, Moesha, Martin, The Players Club, and so many more landmark television and film projects during his life. His cause of death is still unknown, and this is indeed a tragic situation.
