Leaked Photos Of LA Lakers’ New Purple Jerseys Cause A Stir

The LA Lakers are about to step away from their trademark gold and move into a different color pallet, one that has always been a part of the team. That being said, some fans have yet to accept the Lake Show in purple.

The new purple alternate jerseys leaked online and it is not 100% confirmed that they will be a part of the 2021-22 season. The images show LeBron James’ new jersey complete with #6 on purple fabric.

This new leak fueled speculation that the jerseys are official and set for a debut next season. Needless to say, they received a mixed reaction.

The Lakers aren’t scheduled to tip-off their season until October 19th where they will host the Warriors. That should be a great game to open their season so LeBron and crew can prove that they are a solid unit. They might even rock a new color in the process.
