Jeff Bridges revealed that he was in a cancer battle last year, but now there is much better news to report.

TMZ revealed a statement from Jeff Bridges that let fans know that his cancer is now in remission. This is great news as many were concerned about his health. He not only kicked cancer, but he also beat COVID-19 in the process.

The acting legend provided this statement on Monday, in the form of a handwritten note. He used his own cursive handwriting as well. The cancerous lymphoma he had last year is now down to the size of “a marble,” and he is not in remission.

The news of his cancer battle is astonishing, because at one point the cancer was 9 inches by 12 inches.

This incredible story has another twist. The famous face also beat COVID-19 while he was fighting cancer. He said that the cancer was likely caught from the facility where he was receiving chemo. Bridges is fully vaccinated and he attributed that to his speedy recovery from COVID.

We’re very happy to hear this great news, because now Jeff Bridges can resume acting work, something he says has already started.

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
