Rick Ross has an incredible collection of over 100 cars, but he hasn’t been able to legally drive any of them. That didn’t keep the 45-year-old rap legend from cruising, all the while avoiding Johnny Law. Now Ross has the legal ability to drive a car… finally.

Ross told The Today Show that he finally paid a visit to Department of Motor Vehicles after being pestered by his mother and sister to, “stop joyriding.”

“I went, took the test. It took me an hour. You know, I missed a few answers but I got it, I got it.”

“You know, you should have your license. Anytime I got pulled over, by the time the officer pulled up…”

He gave a smile to insinuate that his local police force is well aware that he likes to take cruises without the proper documentation. Now he is able to ride around in his 100 cars without worrying about getting pulled over without a license.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
