Jesse Eisenberg Didn’t Know About Lex Luthor Appearance In Ben Affleck’s Batman

Jesse Eisenberg has had a prolific career in Hollywood. Even though he’s acted in movies such as Now You See Me, Zombieland & The Social Network, his performance in Batman V Superman has been critically polarized.

The actor talked to ComicbookMovie.com and revealed that he simply didn’t know if he had an appearance lined up for the Batman movie. His role as Lex Luthor is one that gained him favor with the fans, so his role in another DCEU movie was what fans were really looking forward to.

Oh, yeah. Yeah, of course. Also, if there were [plans for The Batman], I didn’t know about them. Otherwise, I’d have some great material, but I didn’t know about it!

Ben Affleck stepping down from the directorial and writing role of the movie skewed the plans for the movie. While Robert Pattinson’s The Batman is coming and will be set in Earth-2, the future of Batfleck is uncertain.

Matt Reeves’ The Batman is one of the most anticipated movies by DCEU. Depicting a younger version of The Batman solving crimes in Gotham city, he will be fighting against a bunch of villains such as The Riddler, Penguin and key characters such as Jim Gordan & Catwoman.
