Oscar De La Hoya Raring To Get Back In The Ring After 3-Day Hospital Stay

Oscar De La Hoya was set to make his return to the boxing world in a match against Vitor Belfort on September 11th. Dana White in particular wanted La Hoya to lose badly.

His boxing match against Vitor Belfort was likely one of many matches as Oscar De La Hoya was determined to make a proper comeback. Unfortunately, that match no longer happened after La Hoya revealed he tested positive for COVID-19 and had to be hospitalized.

Many fans were worried about his health as he is 48-years-old. Thankfully, it seems he is doing much better now. The veteran boxer took to his Twitter and uploaded a video, where he gave an update about his condition.

Oscar De La Hoya revealed that he is finally out of the hospital after three days, stating that COVID-19 hit him hard. La Hoya added that he is raring to get back in the ring now that he is better.

Hey guys, I am out of the hospital. I was in there for 3 days. COVID hit me really hard. I was in the best shape of my life and I really can’t wait to get back in the ring. Thank you very much for all your well wishes and all your support. I appreciate it

We will have to wait and see when Oscar De La Hoya will be able to face Vitor Belfort next as there is no doubt he wants to clash with him soon.
