Notorious BIG penned some classics, and now one lucky person will have a chance to own a piece of music history. Biggie’s pad is now up for sale.

Christopher Wallace’s Brooklyn apartment is now up for sale. This is the same place he lived while writing Ready To Die. He stayed there with wife Faith Evans, but the spot is now owned by famous costume designer Caroline Duncan.

The apartment is up for sale, but it won’t come cheap. The current asking price is $1.7 million, and it comes with plenty of things to drive up that price; not just the location.

The New York Post reports that the two-bedroom apartment has two bathrooms, a library, walk-through closets, a chef’s kitchen, 12-foot ceilings, a large loft, and several other updates that Duncan had since Biggie’s stay.

The property was bought by Duncan in 2011, and she “gutted it out” to give it a complete makeover. It might not be the same walls that Biggie looked at while penning Ready To Die, but it is the same coordinates.

The space is currently renting for $4,000 per month. We’ll have to see if someone ponies up the dough to buy it outright for $1.7 million.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
