Michael K. Williams, whose claim to came was his portrayal of Omar Little in HBO’s The Wire, passed away on September 6 at the age of 54. It truly shocked fans and his peers alike.

Marlon Wayans took to his Instagram and uploaded a touching memory of Michael K. Williams, where he embraced his very close friend on a red carpet in Los Angeles.

The clip was from August 8th, which is just under a month before Williams died of a suspected overdose. Marlon Wayans will forever have a lot of love and respect for his dear friend Michael K. Williams and that will never change.
