Marlon Wayans established himself as one of the veteran actors in Hollywood and even had a hilarious interaction with Will Smith earlier this year. He also cared deeply for fellow actor Michael K. Williams.

Michael K. Williams, whose claim to came was his portrayal of Omar Little in HBO’s The Wire, passed away on September 6 at the age of 54. It truly shocked fans and his peers alike.

Marlon Wayans took to his Instagram and uploaded a touching memory of Michael K. Williams, where he embraced his very close friend on a red carpet in Los Angeles.

My last embrace … love you my bro @bkbmg #gonetoosoon

The clip was from August 8th, which is just under a month before Williams died of a suspected overdose. Marlon Wayans will forever have a lot of love and respect for his dear friend Michael K. Williams and that will never change.
