Kanye West isn’t one to let his staff show up late to work. He is also a man of god and won’t let up on the religion when needed.

DJ Akademiks revealed a text message thread from an engineer who received a firing and some strange advice from Ye in a row.

The first message from Kanye was sent at 9:34 a.m saying: “Good morning. Let’s work.” About two hours go by he didn’t respond. Then Kanye followed up his text with: “You’re fired. Go home.”

The person on the receiving end then of those text messages finally replied to say: “I’m really sorry. I have no excuse. I set an alarm for 7:30am. And for whatever reason my phone wasn’t alerting me. I woke up at 11:08 to missed calls and got dressed as fast as I could. Lou was already on his way to get boogz and they just got here. I didn’t call back right away cause I was in panic trying to find a ride. I know this is unacceptable. I’m sorry.”

Kanye then texted back to say: “Stop texting. Go find God.”

This guy didn’t get his job with Kanye, but perhaps Ye can suggest a good church for this guy.

Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
