Kendrick Lamar has come back with a flame lit a new, and it seems he’s not letting it go out anytime soon. The rapper’s announcement to produce and release last album with Top Dawg Entertainment shook the entire rap world. However, he isn’t going out with proclaiming himself the best.

The rapper’s latest single, Family Ties, does a lot of name-dropping and flexing. Lamar name dropped Megan Thee Stallion because of her being a highly influence artist while still going to grad school. He called himself the best, and even compared himself to the likes of Kanye West.

Lamar is running ahead, with a song already gracing the ears of his fans. While Kanye West was supposed to release DONDA shortly after the third listening party of it, the album’s still not out. Drake has the most laid-back approach of all. He is going to drop Certified Lover Boy in January. However, fans are hungry for new music again, and it’s unclear when he’ll follow up on that.

Kendrick Lamar calling the shots while giving the fans what they want, he’s sure to make history. While he might end up with the biggest 2021 album, Kanye West has been a lot of publicity for DONDA. He lit himself on fire in the third DONDA listening party. While he’s been beefing with Drizzy, he also replaced Jay Z with DaBaby.
