It’s been a long time since Dr. Dre dropped “Compton” on August 7, 2015, marking the legendary rapper’s third studio album. For someone who works as much as Dre, he is very selective about releasing full length albums. A fourth drop is coming soon according to an unlikely source.

During Steve-O’s Wild Ride! podcast, Flavor Flav opened up about his experience working with the Doc. We’re not certain what Dr. Dre had Flavor Flav do on the new record, but he participated in some day, and that album is going to drop soon.

“I was just at Dre’s house a week and a half ago,” explains Flav. “One of the best people in the world. I’m honored for him to have had me record something at his house for his upcoming album that’s getting ready to come out. That’s big to me. Flavor Flav on a Dr. Dre album, that’s big to me, bro.”

Dr. Dre’s name is on a ton of tracks as producer, but he’s not one to put out a ton of albums. He’s been working hard on something and his recent bitter divorce might provide him with plenty of inspiration to drop some serious lyrical weight on the world soon enough.

Let’s get to know each other. Me? Well, I have a master’s degree in Journalism from Marshall University, but I don’t really like to talk about that. I was a stand-up comedian for eight years, but I don’t really like to talk about that either. I write a lot. I once worked for a company that writes blurbs for online gambling games. Those paid $.75 each. So, if you frequent that kind of thing, then you’re welcome for the description for Biker Chicken Slots or Crazy Granny’s Scratchers. I wish I had more to tell, but due to my crippling anxiety and Tourette’s Syndrome, that has become increasingly worse over the years, I tend to keep to myself.
