Last week, OnlyFans announced that they will be doing away with explicit content on the platform from October of this year. Due to this, Tyga opened up his own version of OnlyFans. This certainly made stars such as Bhad Bhabie concerned, as she made a lot of money from the platform. Now it seems the ban won’t happen anymore.

Naturally, there was a lot of backlash from this decision as many people who make their livelihood from explicit content would be out of a job and suffer greatly as a result of the ban.

On Wednesday, OnlyFans announced that it will suspend a planned policy change to prohibit “sexually explicit content,” due to the backlash it received from its community.

The OnlyFans official account took to Twitter and revealed the suspension on their planned ban, doing a complete u-turn on the matter, which will certainly relieve a lot of users.

Thank you to everyone for making your voices heard. We have secured assurances necessary to support our diverse creator community and have suspended the planned October 1 policy change. OnlyFans stands for inclusion and we will continue to provide a home for all creators.”

It is certainly great that OnlyFans realized the error of their ways and decided to stop the ban on sexually explicit content as many people depend on their platform to make ends meet.
