Gable Steveson’s name has been making headlines for the past couple of weeks, thanks to his incredible performance at the Tokyo Olympics. WWE already made it clear they want to sign him and Steveson is responsible for starting a bidding war between WWE and the UFC. Gable previously revealed that he wants to become a UFC Champion as well. It seems Steveson isn’t in any hurry to talk to Dana White either.

He is also teasing the possibility that the NFL might get him to sign on the dotted line. Gable Steveson also had a tremendous performance, where he won the gold medal in the 125kg freestyle category.

It was also reported that Gable Steveson was in talks with Bellator but it is unlikely ever sign with the promotion. Many fans are certainly interested in the prospect of seeing Steveson in the MMA world.

While speaking to Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour, Gable Steveson talked about potentially signing with UFC and revealed that he has no intention of running to UFC President Dana White.

“Meeting did not happen. I got to Vegas and I was on go the whole day so I had no time to reach out or nothing… He’s got my number, he can reach out.

He’s not coming at me like that. Like I said, I’ll wait my turn and Dana you got my phone number, you got my Instagram. I don’t run. I don’t run to people. I do my job, I wrestle, I win championships. I put on for the University. I put on for USA. No need for me to run anywhere.”

Perhaps fans might not get to see him in the UFC as Vince McMahon is going all out to sign Gable Steveson to a WWE contract. We will have to wait and see whether he will sign with WWE or UFC in the future.
