Manny Pacquiao ended his historic boxing career as he fought with Yordenis Ugas. Even though he was supposed to go toe-to-toe against Errol Spence, he suffered an injury. Yordenis Ugas was brought in as the replacement and won over Pacquiao through unanimous decision.

Pacquiao fought with the attitude of it being his last match. It was apparent that Pacquiao was fighting another fight; the one with his age. In the post-fight conference, he talked about how it’s difficult to be in top shape after a certain point.

Manny Pacquiao has had a fulfilling boxing career. However, his trainer Freddie Roach told Sky Sports that he still wants to fight his former opponent and retired boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather.

We would like to fight Mayweather one more time. But exhibitions? No. Manny is not into that. Manny has boxing fans. That’s what we’re after.

Mayweather may have stopped professional boxing, but he still makes a killing from doing exhibition matches. The undefeated boxing legend recently proclaimed that there won’t be a boxer better than him. With him unwilling to really fight an authentic boxing match, it seems Pacquiao’s dream will remain unfulfilled.
