Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are exactly the kind of people who should be working together. While McElhenny is the creative genius about the crass and highly satirical It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Ryan Reynolds is….well…Deadpool.

Reynolds and McElhenney have had a few collaborations so far. They’ve been up to a lot of mischief together, and their new move included Ted Lasso. As Jason Sudeikis takes on the role of Ted Lasso in America’s favorite comedy, the pair of trolls realized that it’s time to exact their revenge on Lasso in the most devilish way possible.

Ted Lasso featured a joke about Reynolds and McElhenney co-owning Wrexham, which they didn’t like very much. However, it gave them the opportunity to come up with the best prank they could come up with: legal maneuvers.

Reynolds and McElhenney wrote a cease-and-desist letter to Apple+, where they seriously asked for compensation after being joked about insensitively. They demanded the payback, however, in the form of biscuits.

The ball is now in Lasso’s court. The writers of the Emmy winning show can come up with a number of equally hilarious responses. What their responses will be like remains to be seen.

What’s your take on this absurd prank? Sound off in the comments!
