Britney Spears never stops making headlines, but it’s not always for the best reason. The pop icon is known to make a stir wherever she goes, and she had a couple incidents in recent memory that required police intervention. Her housekeeper filed battery charges against her, but that’s not all.

According to a report from Page Six, police were called to Britney’s home for another reason. The Toxic singer had an incident with a theft and the cops were needed in this instance as well.

Britney picked up the phone and called the police when a mysterious theft took place at her home last week. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the famous singer just before 6:00 pm on August 10th.

After police arrived, she decided not to pursue action. The department’s media relations officer, Capt. Eric Buschow provided the following statement:

“She called and wanted to report some type of theft. When deputies arrived and contacted her security staff, they informed the deputies that Ms. Spears decided she did not want to file a report at that time. And so, deputies left.”

No official record was taken about what Britney Spears had stolen from her since she decided not to follow through with the report. We are not sure what Britney lost, but let’s hope she finds it soon enough. Spears’ attorney, Matthew Rosengart, declined to comment on the incident.

Let’s get to know each other. Me? Well, I have a master’s degree in Journalism from Marshall University, but I don’t really like to talk about that. I was a stand-up comedian for eight years, but I don’t really like to talk about that either. I write a lot. I once worked for a company that writes blurbs for online gambling games. Those paid $.75 each. So, if you frequent that kind of thing, then you’re welcome for the description for Biker Chicken Slots or Crazy Granny’s Scratchers. I wish I had more to tell, but due to my crippling anxiety and Tourette’s Syndrome, that has become increasingly worse over the years, I tend to keep to myself.
