DaBaby Jokes About Leaving Rap For R&B

DaBaby caused a huge stir when he thought it was a good idea to drop a ton of homophobic messages at Rolling Loud in front of the entire world. He lost a ton of work, getting cut from festivals left and right. Now DaBaby might be saying “f*ck rap,” because he’s moving to another genre.

The controversial rapper posted a video on his Instagram story. He was dancing with his daughter and singing away to a J. Cole song. As DaBaby and his little one belted out “Power Trip,” DaBaby posted some very interesting text.

“I’m switching to R&B, f*ck a rap [crying laughing emojis][microphone emoji].”

DaBaby was likely having some fun, because he’s already well established in the rap game. With 50 Cent by his side, it seems that only big things are ahead for him. That won’t keep DaBaby from pissing off a ton of people along the way.
