Nate Diaz remains one of the most legitimate fighters to have ever stepped foot inside the Octagon. Diaz last competed against Jorge Masvidal for the “BMF” title at UFC 244 back in November 2019. He lost the match via doctor’s stoppage, but he is far from finished in the fight game.

At UFC 263, Nate Diaz finally made his return to the Octagon as he squared off against Leon Edwards. Unfortunately for Diaz, his return didn’t quite go the way that he wanted to as Diaz lost the fight.

Nate Diaz had also made it clear that he wants to compete in the Octagon again within the next three to four months. Dustin Poirier took to Twitter and seemingly called out Nate Diaz for a fight. Nate Diaz would then make a tweet of his own, telling Poirier not to be scored to fight him this time around.

Let’s fight don’t be scared this time tho

The two were set to square off against each other at UFC 230 in a lightweight fight, but Dustin Poirier had to pull from the fight due to injury and they never competed against each other. We will have to wait and see if the two finally get to have their fight eventually.
