Manny Pacquiao is undoubtedly one of the most popular boxers in the world of professional boxing right now and has faced the best of the best the sport has to offer. Pacquiao was set to square off against the undefeated welterweight boxer Errol Spence Jr. this month. However, the match ended up being cancelled after Spencer suffered a torn retina in his left eye.

This left many fans disappointed as they wanted to see the two stars duke it out in the boxing ring. However, it seems there is some hope left for a match between the two in the future.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Manny Pacquiao was asked if he had any interest in facing off against Errol Spence Jr. in the future once Spence recovers. Pacquiao made it clear that he has no problem waiting for Spence to recover before fighting him.

“I have no problem [fighting Spence]. As long as he’s still physically fit, then okay.”

Manny Pacquiao is set to face off against Yordenis Ugas on August 21st in a boxing match. We will have to wait and see how the match turns out, but the removal of Spence Jr. from the card will certainly do harm to the overall interest.
