Silva was released from the UFC last year in November after he lost to Uriah Hall in his final match. Hasn’t been quiet and is not finished in combat sports at all.

Anderson Silva squared off against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., son of the legendary boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. on June 19 in a boxing match. The MMA legend took the combat sports world by storm as he shockingly defeated Chavez Jr. in decisive fashion.

Anderson Silva looked very impressive with his performance in the 8-round boxing match, as he landed many clean hits on Chavez Jr and proved that he has the best striking ability in all of combat sports. Now it seems his next opponent might have already been decided.

According to a report by MMAFighting, a boxing match between Anderson Silva and fellow UFC legend Tito Ortiz is currently in the works.

Triller Fight Club is reportedly is planning on holding the boxing match as part of their upcoming September 11th event from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California that will be headlined by a main event match between Oscar De La Hoya and Vitor Belfort.

The boxing match between Silva and Ortiz is likely to take place at a catchweight of 195 pounds. We will have to wait and see if the match truly takes place or not. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story.
