Conor McGregor remains one of the most well known MMA fighters in the history of combat sports and his accolades over the years speak for themselves. The Notorious is also known to trash talk often, with varied results. Many have wondered if McGregor’s natural charisma would be a good fit for WWE and their tendency to make a spectacle out of everything. Matt Riddle has apparently pondered the subject himself.

While Conor McGregor has backed up his trash talks in the past, more often than not, they have also resulted in embarrassing defeats for him. McGregor also doesn’t presently hold any title in the UFC, but he is on a revenge mission as he takes aim at Dustin Poirier.

Many have observed that Conor McGregor has been on a downward spiral. He has also upset many people with his controversial actions, most notably when he took a shot at Khabib’s deceased father. This definitely drew the ire of fans and peers who felt Conor McGregor went too far. The WWE locker room also has their share of controversial members.

While speaking to Riju Dasgupta, Matt Riddle was asked if Conor McGregor would be a good fit for WWE. Should Notorious ever make his way to the company, Riddle stated that he would be a good fit if McGregor puts in the hard work.

”Do I think he’d be a good fit for WWE? If he’s willing to do the work and work hard and put his time in, yes, yes, just like Ronda was good; just like I was good.”

At this point in time, it is not known if Conor McGregor will ever make it to WWE, but nothing is certain in the pro wrestling world. Vince McMahon has a lot of money, something that drives McGregor as well.

Conor McGregor is already making a recovery in rapid fashion. We will have to wait and see what shape Conor McGregor will be in once he returns to the Octagon as McGregor is expected to be out of action for a year.
