Lil Nas X is currently one of the most highly-discussed rappers in the music industry, but not all of it is for reasons he would like. His latest “MONTERO (Call My By Your Name)” music video made him a huge subject of controversy as he could be seen giving a lap dance to Lucifer in the video.
The rapper is also known to be a massive troll on social media and he recently did that once again. Lil Nas X took to Twitter and decided to cause a stir as Nas X promised that he will change his current image for an older one.
Lil Nas X stated that after his newest album drops, he will swap his current ‘gay era’ and return to his former ‘cowboy era.’ This post generated a lot of attention, to say the least.
“After i drop the album i will be finish with my gay era and returning to my cowboy era,”
His ‘cowboy era’ was certainly a great one as he produced 2018’s “Old Town Road,” which has since gone on to be 14 times Platinum, a record in the history of the Recording Industry Association of America. Some fans might welcome a return to that persona, but it’s not likely at this point. Lil Nas X is incredibly outspoken about LGBTQ rights which will continue.
We will have to wait and see when Lil Nas X will drop his next album and actually follow through on his promise or not. Giddy-Up, cowboy?
