Kanye West remains one of the most iconic and influential rappers in the Hip-Hop world right now and he also has a very good mind when it comes to being a businessman, as the rapper has built his own empire.
The rapper is also notorious when it comes to the release of his albums and that includes his highly-anticipated album called ‘Donda.’ Kanye West recently held listening parties for his long-delayed album Donda. However, the album didn’t actually arrive on July 23rd and that certainly did not sit well with fans.
Kanye West also did not perform at Rolling Loud in Miami recently, which disappointed fans as well. The listening party shattered Apple streaming records as well. His first listening party was in Las Vegas with a second in Atlanta, where he remained in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to finish the album.
Apple Music recently launched an exclusive livestream event in their app, broadcasting footage from Kanye West’s living quarters at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. A countdown could be seen ticking away until the release of ‘Donda.’
The visitors included Chance The Rapper, The LOX, Vic Mensa, Mike Dean, Steve Lacy, Fivio Foreign, and more. The video was muted on purpose and Kanye West was also seen in the live stream.
Currently, the stream is still ongoing and can be seen exclusively on Apple Music. With ‘Donda’ set to release on August 5th, we will have to see how the album will turn out.
