Gamers who pick up NBA 2K22 will have another feature to play around with. The next edition from the 2k franchise will allow players to customize their own soundtrack with their own music.

The game strives to present something new for players every year. The upcoming game is taking things to another level by allowing players to create their own music within the soundtrack. This “new approach” to the soundtrack will be a part of the Seasons concept in the My Career mode.

More music will be released after the game is released on September 10th through this feature. The lineup is initially set to include names such as Aitch, Freddie Gibbs, Gunna, Megan Thee Stallion, Metro Boomin, Saweetie, Skepta, Smino, and Travis Scott.

The Producer series will allow players to create their own music. This will integrate beats into the game via the Beats Pack. The ability to add their own lyrics and music takes gameplay to a personalize place that few games have been able to replicate.

Needless to say, we are impressed by how far they are going with this year’s NBA 2k game. The big question is how they plan to top it next year.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
