Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is one of the all-time greats in the world of professional basketball. James suffered a very nasty injury to his right ankle in the Lakers’ game against the Atlanta Hawks back in March and despite making a return, James simply hasn’t been the same since the injury.

While LeBron James certainly has seen better days, it does not really blemish his legacy as LeBron James remains in the discussion of the greatest basketball player of all time regardless. LeBron James is also known to illicit a lot of reactions no matter what he does.

The Tokyo Olympics 2020 has been a great event so far, but not without its fair share of controversies. Tamyra Mensah-Stock’s became the first black woman to win gold in wrestling at the Olympics. After her historic win, she was asked her how it felt to represent the USA since she had the flag wrapped around her.

It feels amazing. I love representing the US, I freaking love living there. I love it, and I’m so happy I get to represent U-S-A!”

Journalist David Hookstead took to Twitter and decided to take a shot at LeBron James and NFL player Colin Kaepernick, stating that they should learn from Tamyra Mensah-Stock how to be a patriot.

“I love representing the USA. I love living there, I love it and I’m so happy I get to represent U-S-A!” – American gold medalist Tamyra Mensah-Stock. This is what real patriotism looks like. LeBron James and Colin Kaepernick could learn a lesson from her.

LeBron James has yet to respond to what the journalist said and at this point in time, it is unlikely he will do so.
