Aaron Rodgers resisted playing with the Green Bay Packers for another season. He also reportedly turned down a historic contract extension that would have made him the highest paid quarterback in the NFL. Now Rodgers has decided to play for the Packers.

Marshawn Lynch trended on social media when he dropped a profanity while talking about Rodgers’ situation on First Take. He’s not the only big name in sports weighing in on the subject.

Rodgers and the Packers will make things work for another season. He previously grilled the front office because they aren’t giving him anyone to throw the football to. He had a press conference that generated a lot of attention, and LeBron James noticed.

King James’ Instagram story included a screenshot from Rodgers’ presser. James also included a “shrugging shoulders” emoji along with a caption that said he “100% loves to see it.” You can check out the graphic below.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
