Tom Brady got a lot of people talking when he dropped a video showing off an insane football trick. It turns out that it was all the result of some amazing editing.

The above video went viral as tons of Tampa Bay fans inflated their chests and crowed their GOAT QB. Brady is still a GOAT, but it turns out that he is also a master of tricky editing.

Heavy got down to the bottom of this and they have revealed that the video was actually put together with perfect editing by Tom Brady’s production company.

Ari Fararooy directed the video and did the visual effects. Los Angeles area creative studio Warm & Fuzzy did the computer generated imagery. Shadow Lion, Tom Brady’s own multimedia company, produced the video.

Sam Cooper of Yahoo Sports also explained that what Brady was doing was actually impossible with that Jugs throwing machine. It’s simply not how the machine is designed, because you must load from the back.

“Not only is the level of precision Brady needed to make those throws virtually unattainable, it’s not how a Jugs machine works, To get the Jugs machine to send the ball back your way, it needs to be loaded from the backside. Not to mention, the machine needs somebody to manually push the ball through (at least it did when I played high school football 10-plus years ago).”

We’ll have to see if Tom Brady tried to pull any fast ones with clever video editing from this point on. It is kind of disappointing that he did this in a few ways, because now it’s harder to trust anything you see on social media.
