Competition amongst artists is not unheard of at all in music, especially with two top dogs like Drake and Kanye West. Now it seems that time has created an opportunity for them to squash things.
Kanye’s new album is dropping very soon, and he’s already having listening parties. We know that he won’t be throwing any shade at Kim Kardashian on the record either. What fans didn’t know is whether Drake will plan another promotional tactic to steal some of Kanye’s shine.
According to industry executive Karen Civil, the two mega stars have squashed things, and they’re friends now. She made this big revelation on Twitter much to the surprise of many fans.
“They friends now,. He not [gonna drop on the same day].”
Certified Lover Boy is a record Drake wanted to put out, but the pandemic slowed down his process. Now he seems primed to drop that record, but he’s not going to steal Kanye’s thunder in the process. It’s nice to see that they were able to work things out.
