John Cena is undoubtedly one of the best Superstars to have ever stepped foot inside a WWE ring. He is a 16-time World Champion and was the face of the company for well over a decade.

John Cena was not seen on WWE television since WrestleMania 36 and fans wondered when he would make his return. Their questions were answered as John Cena finally made his return to the company at the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view.

John Cena got in the ring with Roman Reigns at the end of his WWE Universal Title match against Edge and had a brief staredown with Reigns before the show went off the air.

According to a report by Fightful Select, John Cena has been booked to be on “several upcoming shows” after his appearance at the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view. Cena is not tied to either Monday Night RAW or Friday Night Smackdown and is somewhat of a free agent.

This would explain why John Cena will be appearing on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW despite confronting Roman Reigns, who is on Friday Night Smackdown. It was also reported that Cena won’t be needed for his current film project until after the conclusion of the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. We will have to wait and see how John Cena will be booked until WWE SummerSlam.
