Britney Spears is still the subject of popular conversation due to the restrictive conservatorship over her life. This caused friction between herself and other members of her family who stand to profit from keeping her locked up in this legal mess. It doesn’t seem that Britney is ready to let things slide yet.

Not 24 hours after Jamie Lynn Spears said that she wanted “peace” between herself and Britney, she posted “May the peace of the Lord be with you, and your spirit” in response to shade from her sister, the Oops I Did It Again singer responded with a video that many are reading with plenty of shade.

Along with a video of Britney Spears dancing away in her home, she included a caption that many fans are reading very carefully to determine what she really means.

May the Lord wrap your mean ass up in joy today …. PS RED 🌹🌹🌹 !!!!! Pssss … this is Bad Guy part 2 … same song new dance 💃 … if you don’t like it … don’t watch it

Britney and Jamie Lynn have been at odds with each other for a while over that conservatorship that continues to run Spears’ life. Some fans have been critical about Jamie Lynn’s refusal to come out and publicly state that her sister needs to be freed. Now this beef seems to be publicly one-sided, but many fans are inclined to believe Britney in this situation.

It didn’t take long for fans to put 2 and 2 together and figure out that Britney was throwing shade at her sister. Those comments were not lost on astute fans who are well aware that it’s all about subtext with the Toxic singer.
