Kevin Durant is undoubtedly one of the most popular basketball players in the world right now. The Brooklyn Nets star had previously won two championships with the Golden State Warriors and there is no doubt he will win more in the future.
Durant signed with the Golden State Warriors back in 2016 and saw great success. However, a narrative began which claimed that Kevin Durant was taking the spotlight away from Steph Curry.
Andy Liu, host of the Light Years podcast responded to those claims as he took to Twitter and claimed that Durant had it in his head that Golden State Warrior fans had it out for him. Kevin Durant saw the tweet and replied to it, saying that Liu made up the entire thing.

Another fan agreed with Kevin Durant and said that he didn’t believe Durant was ever bothered by how he was treated, adding that Warrior fans can be weird. Durant replied to the fan and stated that the fact that Warrior fans want to believe Durant was jealous of his Warrior teammates is beyond laughable.

It has been two years since Kevin Durant left the Golden State Warriors and is certainly having a great time with the Brooklyn Nets. Durant will continue to shine and be touted as one of the greatest players in the history of professional basketball as the sky is simply the limit for him.
