Tom Brady led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl victory last season, and that was an impressive accomplishment with a new team. It turns out that the GOAT QB’s feat was even more mind blowing that fans first thought.

Brady is no stranger to playing through the pain. He was seen rocking a knee brace, but that disappeared in an offseason training video. This gave hope to Buccaneers fans that their quarter back is getting better.

Hodinkee radio had a chat with Brady recently where he revealed that he actually played all of last season with an MCL injury. This obviously didn’t affect his game too much as he got another Super Bowl ring out of the season.

It was an injury I dealt with really since last, you know, April, May. I knew I would have to do something at the end of the year and happy I did it and it was probably something that certainly needed to be done and there was a great outcome so I’m very happy about that. I feel like there’s some things I’ll be able to do this year that I wasn’t able to do last year.

Tom Brady will lead Tampa Bay for, at least, another season. It will be very interesting to see how he does without an MCL injury holding him back. A fully torn MCL would keep most out of play, but Brady is obviously a different kind of athlete.
