The Rock will be paying attention when WWE brings live fans back to SmackDown this week. It took a lot of waiting things out, but the long wait is over.

Dwayne Johnson sent out a tweet to congratulate Vince McMahon and WWE for getting live fans back once again. WWE is hitting the road, starting a live tour again for the first time in over a year and a half. It took a lot of time due to the pandemic, but fans are about to make their return to live WWE events once again.

Congratulations Vince and @wwe Universe on this big milestone.

A live audience is and will always be the backbone of the pro wrestling industry. It’s what fuels our mana and I know what this means to all the wrestlers. Welcome back and as I always say, “move the crowd”

It will be interesting to see how WWE fans react to a return to touring. Their television ratings could see a dramatic boost as well. This COVID time is still not passed us yet, but WWE is making a return to normalcy in the best way they can. The Rock obviously can’t wait to see what they have in store.

What’s your take on this situation? Sound off in the comments!

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
