A quick thinking hotel housekeeper might have saved a lot of lives in Colorado. Needless to say, let’s hope they gets a raise for this one.

The MLB All-Star Games might have been the sight of a horrible tragedy. A housekeeper at a hotel in Denver found a stockpile of guns and ammo and then she called the cops. Now three men and a woman have been arrested.

This went down in Denver at the Maven Hotel, just two blocks from Coors Field, the site of the MLB All-Star Game this year. Cops found a ton of artillery when following up on that housekeeper’s call.

ABC 7 in Denver reports that 16 long guns were confiscated along with more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition. They also found body armor in the hotel room. This room had a balcony that overlooked downtown Denver. Thankfully, they didn’t get a chance to use those weapons.

3 of the 4 suspects have criminal records, and one allegedly posted a Facebook message saying they would “go out in a big way.” This is still a developing story, and we’re very happy that is one about this violence being stopped before something could happen.

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
