LeBron James has earned a ton of money and the fame that comes with it. Naturally, plenty of people are very interested in how much dough he’s pulling in. They better be very good with numbers and using three commas if they want to track his earnings.

According to Forbes, King James has earned $1 billion in his career. That number includes $700 million off the court as well. He now joins some very elite company that have earned $1 billion as an active athlete.

“The historic year will push his career earnings to $1 billion, including $700 million off the court. He joins Tiger Woods, Floyd Mayweather, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in reaching the three-comma club while still an active athlete.”

To be fair, LeBron James’ listed net worth is $500 million, so that whole $1 billion is not his net worth. It’s still a ton of money that he has racked in over his career, and it’s still going strong.

Many fans have called out for the LA Lakers to see some sort of a change during this offseason. They are not happy about the Lake Show ending in the first round. LeBron James seems to be doing well. His recent offseason shirtless selfie went viral and he just threw a huge star-studded Space Jam 2: A New Legacy afterparty. Win or lose, it’s still good to be the King.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
